Dil bilgisi / Kalıp

"Be going to" yapısı, daha önceden planlanan gelecek eylemlerden bahsederken kullanılır. Türkçede "...e gitmek" fiilinin geçmiş zaman formu gibi düşünülebilir, fakat İngilizcede tamamen farklı bir yapıdır.

Temel Formül:

Özne + be (am/is/are) + going to + fiil (infinitive)

Olumlu cümleler:

• I am going to visit Paris. (Ben Parisl'e gideceğim.)
• She is going to study tomorrow. (O yarın çalışacak.)
• They are going to play football. (Onlar futbol oynayacak.)

Olumsuz cümleler:

• I am not going to watch TV. (Ben TV izlemeyeceğim.)
• He is not going to come tonight. (O bu gece gelmeyecek.)
• We are not going to travel next month. (Biz gelecek ay seyahat etmeyeceğiz.)

Soru cümleleri:

• Are you going to visit your friend? (Arkadaşını ziyaret edecek misin?)
• Is she going to study English? (O İngilizce çalışacak mı?)
• Are they going to come to the party? (Onlar partiye gelecek mi?)

Not: Fiilden sonra mutlaka "to" koymuyoruz. Örneğin: "going to go", "going to watch", "going to study" — her zaman infinitive (temel form).

Türklerin Sık Yaptığı Hatalar

Hata 1: Gelecek planları anlatırken "will" ve "be going to" karıştırmak
❌ I will visit Turkey next month. (Çok formal ve plansız geliyor)
✅ I am going to visit Turkey next month. (Önceden planlı, daha doğru)

Hata 2: "To" hazfetmek
❌ I'm going visit my friend tomorrow.
✅ I'm going to visit my friend tomorrow.

Hata 3: Fiili yanlış çekimlemek (infinitive yerine -ing ya da past kullanmak)**
❌ She is going to studies tomorrow. ("studies" yanlış)
✅ She is going to study tomorrow.

Hata 4: "Am/is/are" atlamak**
❌ I going to watch TV.
✅ I am going to watch TV.

Telaffuz İpucu

Tip 1: "Going to" hızlı konuşmada "gonna" olabilir**
Resmi yazıda "going to" yazarız, ama sohbette, özellikle Amerikan İngilizcesinde, insanlar "I'm gonna go" diyebilir. Fakat sınavlarda ve resmi ortamlarda "going to" yazmamız gerekir.

Tip 2: "Going" - "g" sesi net olmalı**
"Going" söylerken başlangıçtaki "g" sesi /g/ değil, "gh" sesine yakındır: "gohh-ing". Düz "g" olmadığını hatırla.

Tip 3: "To" uzun okunmalı**
"To" çoğunlukla kısa "tə" olarak okunur (schwa sesine yakın), ama "going to" bağlamindan sonra daha belirgin: "too" gibi veya "tuh" gibi duyulabilir.
